AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-Core AM5 Desktop Processor

The AMD Ryzen 9 9900X is a 12-core, 24-thread desktop processor designed for content creation, heavy multitasking and gaming. Built on the Zen 5 architecture, it combines strong single-thread responsiveness with multi-core capacity for modern applications, games and everyday workloads. 

It runs at a 4.4 GHz base clock and can boost up to 5.6 GHz, backed by 76 MB of total cache and a 120 W default TDP. Support for DDR5 memory at up to 5600 MT/s helps keep data moving efficiently, while PCIe 5.0 connectivity supports compatible motherboards and expansion devices.

The processor uses the AM5 socket. AMD Radeon graphics provides display capability without requiring a separate graphics card, subject to motherboard display-output support.
