The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/45 is a high-performance MPPT solar charge controller engineered to maximise energy harvest from your solar panels and efficiently charge your batteries. Using ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology, the SmartSolar continuously optimises voltage and current to extract the maximum available power—especially in changing or partially shaded conditions.

Unlike conventional controllers, the SmartSolar MPPT can recharge severely depleted batteries, operating at battery voltages as low as 0V, provided the battery cells are not permanently damaged. This makes it ideal for off-grid, backup, marine, caravan, and mobile solar systems where reliability is critical.

With Bluetooth Smart built in, the controller can be fully configured and monitored using the free VictronConnect app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. For remote installations, the SmartSolar can also be monitored globally via the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal when connected to a GX device, or through the GlobalLink 520 where no local internet is available.

The SmartSolar MPPT 150/45 supports 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems and delivers up to 45A charge current with an exceptional 98% efficiency. Advanced electronic protection, a flexible charging algorithm, and temperature-compensated charging ensure optimal battery health and extended service life.
