The Victron Orion-TR Smart 12/24-15A (360W) Non-Isolated DC-DC Charger is a compact, intelligent solution for charging a 24V service battery from a 12V starter battery or alternator. Designed for dual-battery vehicle, marine, and mobile power systems, it ensures reliable charging while protecting the starter battery when the engine is not running.

With Bluetooth Smart built in, the charger can be fully configured and monitored using the VictronConnect app. Users can easily adjust charging voltages, current limits, and operating modes to suit different battery chemistries and system requirements.

The unit employs an adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm (bulk, absorption, float) to deliver fast, efficient, and battery-safe charging. It is fully compatible with smart alternators, making it ideal for modern vehicles where conventional split-charge relays are ineffective.

The Orion-TR Smart automatically separates the starter battery from the service battery when the engine is off, preventing unwanted discharge. A remote on/off terminal allows integration with ignition signals or external switches for complete system control.

Built to Victron’s high reliability standards, the charger features IP43 protection, short-circuit proof design, and high-temperature shutdown. Multiple units can be paralleled to increase output current, providing scalability for higher-demand systems. Installation is straightforward thanks to screw terminals, with no special tools required.
